The Dream
PELLUK stands for Pro Evo Live League UK and was the vision of one frustrated Pro Evo Player, frustrated at playing games against Inter and Brazil every frigging match.
He dreamed of one day being able to congregate players from around the country who had the same values and beliefs in Pro Evo as he did. He set about his task and compiled a friend list of players he felt were cut from the same jib.
He created a website, then got his brother to create a better one. Some of the members started recruiting heavily. We ejected some slags. And after 1 season of striving for the best, we finally found it. And season 2 promises to be the start of something special.
The Concept
The idea behind PELLUK is simple. To be as close to real football as we can. From playing realistic formations to gathering realistic stats, match reports, and a sky sports esque website which allows you to research anything about teams, we want to make this place unique.
We have a structured league format with promotion, relegation champions league and pre season friendly tournaments. We try to make people play their fixtures within the given windows to make the end of the season that much more exciting. We really, really want to players to feel like they are in charge of their teams and suffer the emotional rollercoaster any real manager has to go through.
If Pro Evo is life, PELLUK is our calling.
Unlike many places out there, we focus on the community. We are all like minded people who love Pro Evo. But what else do we love? The community forums allow us to get to know each other beyond the boundaries of the XBOX and have a bloody good laugh.
And that is what PELLUK is about. Fun. Sure, we all love to win, but at all costs? How far would you go to win?
The League
Originally 2 divisions, PELLUK expanded in season 2 to accommodate more players. Such was the popularity we went from 2 to 3 to 4 leagues in the space of a few weeks.
The teams are structured in divisions of equal ability, and it is the MANAGER that gets promoted, not the team. This way, every season the teams you will be playing will be of even abilities.
Alongside the league we run official cup competions for league members as well as a champions league competition to work out who really is the best of the best.
And just like skysports.com you can track your favourite teams matches, results, reports, stats and more via our intuitive website. Even watch the results come in on the vidi printer!
The Arrival of FIFA
Recent poor production by Konami has meant that the online PES game is not as slick as it should be. Many members turned their heads to try FIFA and were mightily impressed. We felt it would be best to cater to this phenomenon and recently started FIFA leagues to run in conjunction with PES!
Whilst we still like to think we are PES through and through, until Konami get their acts together then FIFA is a game to try!
Total Football Management
Two seasons ago, PELLUK launched Total Football Management. This brought the Football Management element to the game and allowed you to dabble in the transfer market. Now, PELLUK takes it one step further. We have now launched our ONLINE Total Football Management centre. Members now have access to the web based player database, and can interact in the transfer market with ease from the comfort of the PELLUK website. For more information, click here
The Future?
Well the sky is the limit for PELLUK. We have some big plans to further expand our member centre, further improvements to our legendary Total Football Management system, as well as further expanding the community. Stick with us!
